                      New Zealand Kauri : was banned form export many years ago and is now only available in recycled 

                                                                     form. AFT does not sell recycled times.

                      Queensland  Kauri : is so difficult to access that the current DPI ( Queensland) publication 

                                                                  containing detailed analysis of 79 local and imported species does not mention 

                                                                  it.

                       Kauri :                     is available from Malaysia, New Guinea and Fiji. These species have the 

                                                                 same rich golden colour and the finished surface displays a lustre similar to 

                                                                 the famous ( but unobtainable). New Zealand Kauri
