2. Description:               Red to Red Brown hardwood with grain  that varies from

                                               straight to interlocked. Texture coarse and even.  Pin Hole 

                                               No Defect

                                                                   *  Moderately  hard and moderately durable except when in

                                                                      contact with the ground.

                                                                  *   Machines well with a moderate blunting effect on tools

                                                                     caused by silica.

                                                                  *   For fixing pre drilling is advisable

                                                                  *   Gluing - care is needed when using certain adhesives.

                                                                  *   Stains, paints and polishes to a satisfactory finish.
