ROSE ALDER

 (Ackama Muelleri) 

1. Origin                           Queensland. 

2. Description:               So named because of its resemblance on appearance and

                                            uses to European Alder. Tree reaches 30m in height and

                                             2.5m in girth. Mauve, Dark Red, fine grained and light

                                             weight. Supply limited ( World Heritage Habitat  timber )
