2. Description: Pale cream coloured with pinkish brown heartwood.
Bending strength and stiffness qualities are low, crushing
strength and resistance to shock loads is medium.

Properties ( various authorities comments)
* Works easily with little blunting effect on cutters.
* Provides a good finish although the edges near knots
may tear out.
* Nail holding and gluing good.
