1. Origin Queensland. Northern New South Wales.
2. Description: Pale Cream to Light Yellow Brown. Sapwood not clearly defined. Fine even textured grain. Very large tree (50m).

3. Uses Furniture, plywood, turnery, carving, joinery, boat building (masts, planking, deck beams, frames) draftsmans implements, boat oars, musical instruments ( violin and guitar bellies).
4. Working Properties ( various authorities comments)
* Soft (5 on a 6 class scale).
* Machine and turns well to smooth finish.
* No difficulty in standard fixing techniques.
* Gluing satisfactory.
* Will readily accept stain, polish and paint
