1. Origin Australia (Plantations ex West Victoria).
2. Description: A plantation / shelter belt tree grown in Victorian farming
areas. Often vigorously grown and quite knotty. Fairly light
in weight. Non resinous. Has a Cedar like fragrance.

3. Uses Selected uses for joinery although this busy appearance
has been used to good effect in table tops. Quite durable in
an outdoor situation.

. * Works without difficulty with hand and machine
( although knots are troublesome)
* Disturbed grain tears and end grain breaks away
tool exit.
* Pre boring is essential.
