1. Origin Australia (Plantations ex West Victoria).
2. Description: A plantation / shelter belt tree grown in Victorian farming areas. Often vigorously grown and quite knotty. Fairly light in weight. Non resinous. Has a Cedar like fragrance.

3. Uses Selected uses for joinery although this busy appearance has been used to good effect in table tops. Quite durable in an outdoor situation.
4. Working Properties ( various authorities comments
. * Works without difficulty with hand and machine ( although knots are troublesome) * Disturbed grain tears and end grain breaks away tool exit.
* Pre boring is essential.
