2. Description:                Sapwood pale Yellow Brown. Heartwood darker or Golden

                                                  Brown with a lustre. Fine even texture.

3. Uses                            A highly prized interior finishing timber suitable for

                                                 cabinet making and joinery, high class furniture and

                                                 pattern making.

                                                       *  Planing is easy and the planed surface smooth and

                                                           lustrous.

                                                       *  Nailing excellent.

                                                       *  Easy to re-saw and cross cut.

                                                       *  Strength is weak and timber non durable but easy to

                                                          treat.
